Secure Jobs for Ireland and be Rewarded
The founder of an initiative which rewards the creation of jobs in Ireland will give an information seminar at IT Sligo on Thursday, May 17th.
Terry Clune, founder of ConnectIreland, will explain the potential benefits to individuals who connect with organisations to set up in Ireland.
Appointed by the Irish Government and IDA Ireland to assist in the Government’s 2012 Action Plan for Jobs, Connect Ireland’s mission is to attract companies that are expanding internationally so they locate in Ireland and create new jobs in the Irish economy.
Through the ConnectIreland programme, a ‘Connector’ will receive a minimum reward of €1,500 for each job created through their introduction.
The reward is payable in two stages:
50% (€750) is paid one year after the job is created and the remaining 50% (€750) is paid two years after the job is created.
The seminar will be hosted by IT Sligo’s Innovation Centre near the Institute’s Main Reception (Room: A0006) from 4.00pm to 5.15pm on Thursday 17th of May.
