Description
HOMEBEAT is all about creating the space to appreciate music for what it really is, art. Hence we are so delighted to announce a very very special evening of spectacular music which we truly belive to be at the very cutting edge of the Irish scene, in a setting that is going to allow you feel every beat, and live every pause.
VERY PROUDLY PRESENTING :
Ryan Vail
Ryan Vail has been operating on the vanguard of the Irish electronic scene for some time now. Glitched electronics, and analogue drum-machine beats mingle with intimate, breathed vocals and pastoral, uplifting, naive melodies. Vail's music straddles dance floor groove and heartfelt melodic songwriting.
Live, in tandem with multi - instrumentalist (and wife!) Katie Cosgrove, the pair have performed with acts such as Jamie XX, Jon Hopkins, Todd Terje and most recently at a spectacular show in Belfast City Hall with Nils Frahm.
2014 has been another stellar year for Ryan with lauded performances at Body & Soul and BBC's Other Voices.
Conor Walsh
Conor Walsh is the composer and performer of intense, widescreen cinematic piano epics. Hewn from the salt air and open skies of his native Mayo, Conor's music forms part of the cornerstone of contemporary indigenous music which is undoubtably of international standard, yet unmistakably holds on to it's Irish soul.
2014 has been a hallmark year for Conor which saw him astound hushed audiences across the countries, playing every major festival including The Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, as well as a very notable performance at the Homebeat Takeover at Castlepalooza.
He is currently working in tandem with Feel Good Lost and is about to release his eargerly anticipated album under their watch.
