Event Details

NEWNOWNEXT is a series of public talks curated by the Irish Architecture Foundation in collaboration with Arup, revealing current and next generation ideas and architects from across the globe.

Samuli Woolston is one of the four founding partners at ALA Architects, a studio that has played a prominent role in the development of an entirely new generation of architecture in Finland. ALA has demonstrated its ability to design and put into practice impressive architecture on an international scale, and Woolston is known particularly for his considerate and artistic design approach. His interest in interdisciplinary and cross-cultural design is evident in his work as lead designer of the Lappeenranta City Theatre.

The talk will be introduced by Michael Corr, Creative Director of PLACE, Belfast and followed by a drinks reception sponsored by Tiger Beer.

Doors open at 18.00.

Samuli Woolston talk from 18.30 until 20.00.

All invited FREE Tiger Beer reception 20.00 until 21.00.
