Rock-Paper-Drillers – The Conventionals - Oil and Gas Exploration and Development by the Irish at Home and Abroad 

on 30th January at St. Stephens Green Club, No. 9 St. Stephens Green, Dublin 2.


  • Tom O’Brien, Commercial Manager, Providence Resources - Irish legal & regulatory framework for oil & gas exploration & development;
  • Tom Hickey, CFO, Petroceltic-  The commercial perspective of projects and bankability;
  • John O'Mahony, Vice Chairman of the Oireachtas Committee - Report on Offshore Oil and Gas Exploration; and  
  • Dr. Paul McGowan, Director of Safety, CER - with an 'Update on the Implementation of the Petroleum Exploration & Extraction Safety Act 2010.'

Payment may be made through Eventbrite or on the morning at the door. Admission on the morning will be subject to capacity.

The Law Faculty at Griffith College is proud to co-host this Energy Conference, it is one a four ELI conferences planned in the energy law area in 2012-13.
