When we first introduced Eventbrite Ads in June 2022, our goal was to help organisers get their events in front of the right people, and provide you with an advertising-platform alternative — ours!

While in Beta, we developed one-on-one relationships with organisers using Eventbrite Ads to understand their needs. 

Eventbrite Ads Experience

We’re excited to share that Eventbrite Ads has now graduated from Beta! We’ve listened to your feedback and made many improvements to help you get more from your Ads and build your communities. Not only that, but we’ve also expanded into more cities, so even more organisers can promote their events.

We’re continuously improving Eventbrite Ads and wanted to take a moment to celebrate all the magic we’ve created since launching.

We supercharged Eventbrite Ads and expanded globally

We expanded our product offerings by including promoted events on our Category pages. We also broadened our ad campaigns to include creators who host recurring events. 

We also went global with our coverage area. Event organisers in Toronto, Vancouver, Melbourne, and Sydney can now promote their events. 

We reached the right people, at the right time with Ads

We improved our prediction models to place ads in front of the right people who are most likely to click on events they’ll be interested in. We added the promotions feature to inform customers of discounts on promoted events.

We also provided more clarification around location-based targeting to give advertisers a better understanding of the radius where we promote their events.

We learned how to be smarter with our advertisers’ budgets and impressions by introducing Hide this ad. The feature improves ad targeting for event searches, maximizing ad spend and giving users more control over the ads they see.

We gave you more control

Eventbrite Ads Campaign Example

We gave you a better way to preview your campaign across our site and mobile app before launching. We also introduced ad campaign objectives to give you more control over how your events are shown to people. Now you can choose if you want to optimize for more impressions or clicks.  

Lastly, we improved how we provided data insights to our campaign performance summaries, so you could better understand how many more impressions and clicks your ads contributed.

Our team isn’t stopping now. We’re listening to all of your suggestions to make Eventbrite Ads even better.

In the near future, keep an eye out for new location targeting options, marketplace expansions, and campaign image customizations.
