Organizer of Biodiversity Net Gain introduction
Exo Engineering specialises in the development of ecologically-engineered solutions to traditional problems in intertidal and subtidal environments. This includes the production of environmentally conscious erosion control units such as scour protection for offshore wind and sheet piling for marinas and riverbanks. Through the inclusion of features such as ledges, holes and pools, we can mimic naturally found habitats which are often neglected by the design of traditional hard infrastructure. This can help developers to achieve the Biodiversity Net Gain requirements as part of development and increase the bioreceptivity of hard infrastructure to encourage biodiversity to flourish.
