Organizer of BMMHC
On behalf of justUs, MH Foundation we are excited to bring such an amazing tour to audiences of black men. As a survivor, Camillia Harris can no longer stand by and not help the voiceless or those in need. The Black Men's Mental Health Conference is a multi-city tour bringing awareness and education to mental health care for black men. On this tour, we will share stories, provide access to resources, and equip communities with the necessary tools to create systems of support to ensure that black men have the best access to mental healthcare. Our tour will feature conversations aimed to better understand the social determinants of mental health and the specific psychological issues facing black men through panel discussions, mental health experts, resources and more. This tour will empower and inspire attendees to prioritize their mental well-being and take steps to heal and improve their overall mental health.Harris states, "It is time to talk. It is time to unite. It is time to find solutions and bring resources and awareness to areas that are taking the lives of many people we know and love".
