Welcome to The Disciplined Actor!The overall purpose of this group is to support Actors along their journey in achieving their creative and professional goals.It was created as a home base for actors to come back to in between gigs to refresh, recharge and get inspired towards their next set of goals whether that be creative or business wise.It’s for actors who want to stay connected to their community on a regular basis, brainstorm ideas, work out goals, challenges or workshop material.We have had and will have an array of workshops and seminars touching upon both the creative and business sides of the industry- ie.audition workshops, how to get and keep an agent, quarterly goal reviews, elevator pitches and anything else we can think up.The Disciplined Actor was founded originally in NYC and it grew into a very special place for actors, writers and film makers. So I’m very excited to be relaunching it here in Ireland and to start The Actor’s Dojo ...where actors can workout their creative chops, strengthen their stage presence, improv, technique and performance muscles weekly.This is a place to get on your feet and work weekly so you’re inspired and ready when that next big audition comes your way.
