For this very first Story Slam of 2021, we’re teaming up with Volunteer Ireland to create a special show celebrtaing First Fortnight's 10th Birthday. We're looking for stories inspired by something we've all come to appreciate, Community. From volunteering with a community group locally to working with a community onthe fringes, we're looking for inspiring stories of friendship, support and getting together just to be together. Reliable Neighbours coming to the rescue to surprising friendships created while trying to change the world. This January, as we celebrate the 10 year anniversary of First Fortnight, why not join a remarkable community of storytellers & storylovers online, & share your story with The Dublin Story Slam.

How it Works

We're inviting anyone with a true personal story, 4-7mins long and inspired by the theme, to pop their name into a virtual hat. On the night if you get called, you get up or rather switch on your mic & camera and share your story. At the end of each story, Judges will give a score out of 10 and at the end of the night, we'll announce the winner of The Dublin Story Slam.

To add your name to the hat, simply e.mail us the first line of your story to story@thedublinstoryslam.com. Remember, the first 6 storytellers to sign up go FREE.

Please note both the Story Slam is an online event using Zoom - the conference & meeting ap. Ticketholders will be e.mailed on the day by 5pm with a link and password to access this online show.
