Description

The Gay Men's Health Service HSE and our partners the Gay Health Network are pleased to announce the 15th Annual Gay Health Forum (GHF 15) on Friday 30th June 2017 at the Conference Centre, UpperCourtyard, Dublin Castle. This conference is supported by the Department of Health , the HSE: National Directorate "Health and Wellbeing", the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) and the Sexual Health and Crisis Pregnancy Programme.

GHF15 presents an opportunity for clinical and community service providers, public health, surveillance, protection and promotion for those involved in HIV, Sexual Health and other health related work with MSM and LGBT people to network, share and acknowledge all our efforts in advancing the health and wellbeing of LGBTIQ people.

Men Who Have Sex With Men (MSM) are recognised as a key population for HIV prevention, sexual health awareness and care and support services. GHF15 provides an important platform for presentations from up to date clinical audits, and other research and surveillance reports. Featured also will be presentations on Chemsex, HIV and STI's and MSM, the MSM HIV/STI increase national response committee, GHN, Man2Man and GMHS updates and HIV and STI testing. There will be other community iniatitives from Positive Now, HIV Ireland, GMHS, GOSHH, Gay Switchboard Ireland and BeLonG To LGBT Youth Services.

GHF15 is free and as places are strictly limited they will be assigned on a first register basis. It is advised to register as soon as possible. Confirmation of a place and the final programme will be e mailed to you from June 23rd 2017.
