2021 Arkansas Foreign Language Teachers Annual Conference

*This conference is for Arkansas foreign language teachers and is hosted by the Arkansas Foreign Language Teachers Association. 

Come one, come all. World language teachers of Arkansas come together once a year for high-quality professional development that speaks directly to the content area. Join us for a great professional development, networking, personal growth, and friendship. Teachers of all languages, levels, and styles are welcome this year as we continue to build our core community through core practices. This year we will be at five educational cooperative across Arkansas (NE, NW, SE, SW and Wilbur Mills). We are coming near you! After you register, we will send out the information for the cooperatives.

Regular conference registration includes six (6) hours of professional development on Friday with on-site lunch included. In addition, Saturday offers three (3) hours of professional development. Please see below if you are interested in presenting a one-hour session on Sat.

• Attendees must be current members (September 1, 2021-August 31, 2022)  of AFLTA in order to attend the conference. You can pay now using the link below. Please consider paying dues prior to conference registration.  If dues are not paid prior to the conference, you will be asked to pay them on-site, upon check-in. 

• Early registration before Oct. 1 is $75

• Late registration Oct. 1-Oct. 16 is $85

• AAT meetings will be tentatively offered at no extra charged (TBA). 

For information on how to complete the registration and payment process through Eventbrite, click here. If your school is responsible for payment, they will require an invoice. This Eventbrite e-ticket will serve as your invoice. Once you have completed the registration form in Eventbrite you will receive a confirmation email that will contain a link to an invoice/e-ticket. Follow directions and submit the form(s)to your school for payment. Payment must be received prior to the conference or the on-site surcharge will be assessed.
