Speaker profiles:
Joby Davis
Based in the English midlands, Joby specializes in providing Technical Advice and support to climbing walls throughout the UK and overseas.
Joby is a Technical Expert for the ABC Training Trust and a member of the NICAS Coach Development Team. Additionally, Joby has significant experience undertaking legal work relating to climbing related claims.
Joby Davis is a Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor, and a Development Coach. Joby is a Mountain Training course provider for most of their awards, including the Coaching Scheme.
Recently, Joby was heavily involved in developing COVID Secure guidelines in the current pandemic. He is a contributor to publications such as The Professional Mountaineer and numerous current industry texts.
Nate McMullan
Originally from the USA, Nate now lives in Sheffield, England. Nate is an internationally renowned expert on all things related to climbing wall.
Nate is the managing director of Climbing Wall Services, a company that specializes in the climbing wall safety inspections, staff & instructor training, repair & maintenance of climbing walls, EN Conformity testing, route setting, and technical advice and consulting.
Nate's expertise on all things related to climbing walls is called upon by organizations such as the UIAA, the DAV and Petzl.
