The National Volunteer Management Conference is essential to anyone who manages volunteers as part of their role or those who want to learn more about volunteer management in the Community & Voluntary and Corporate Sectors.
This year, the conference will take place at the University of Galway on Wednesday 26th April.
During our plenary sessions, we will be treated to keynotes from Martin J Cowling (Australia), Volunteero (UK), and nfpResearch who will present the results of the Irish Charity Engagement Monitor research. The conference will also be the opportunity to get an update on the National Volunteering Strategy from the Department of Rural and Community Development.
Nine masterclasses and panel discussions are scheduled this year. You will have the opportunity to explore - amongst others - how to market your volunteer programme, learn about trauma informed volunteer management to how to engage ad-hoc volunteers and embrace change while reaching to today's volunteers. During our two panel discussions on youth volunteering and engaging volunteers with a disability, you will be able to hear directly from organisations and volunteers who will share their different experiences with you.
The full conference programme is available here.
