Description

The 3rd Workshop on Molecular Communications is being held in Ghent, Belgium on the 4th to 6th of April 2018. Building on the success of the first and second workshops, this workshop will provide strategic development of Molecular Communications research in Europe with a focus on broadening the reach of the community into border disciplines.

The workshop will be made up of a set of high profile invited guest speakers that will deliver inspirational talks on Molecular Communications within their discipline. This will provide the research community an opportunity to meet and share their research, vision and experience in the area of Molecular Communications across disciplines.

The Workshop is inviting ABSTRACTS discussing recent ongoing research in three core thematic areas being:

- Track 1 - Living Systems Modelling
This theme is focusing on employing communication theory to model and study the behaviour of molecular or chemical signalling in living systems.

- Track 2 - Living Systems Interface
This theme is focusing on leveraging communication theory to design experiments for analysis of living systems and synthetic biological interfaces to interact with living systems.

- Track 3 - Artificial Molecular Communication
This theme focuses on design and engineering of communication protocols and systems harnessing molecules as the key information carrier.

The Workshop will run over of three days, incorporating technical presentations of emerging research and results, tutorials on relevant topics, Keynote speeches as well as open debate panels.

Important Dates:

Abstract Submission 15th January 2018
Notification of Acceptance 28th February 2018
