Description

Cottage Autism Network is hosting a talk on Tuesday June 26th @ 7pm in Gorey Library. The talk is being facilitated by Saskia Dodebier who is a CAN Board member and also a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. This talk will give a brief overview of CAN and introduce five important aspects of having autism (its characteristics as a spectrum disorder, language & communication, executive functioning skills, physical regulation and social skills). It will also go into detail about how to support someone with difficulties in those areas as well as give an extensive resource list. This talk will be of interest to parents/ carers, teachers and extended family members or anyone with an interest in finding out more about autism.
