53rd Institute of Food Science and Technology Ireland Annual Conference
Overview
Jointly organized by the IFSTI and the TU Dublin School of Food Science and Environmental Health as well as the Sustainability and Health Research Hub, the Food Science & Technology Ireland (IFSTI) 53rd Annual Research Conference, will take place January 22–23, 2026, at the Grangegorman Campus of the Technological University Dublin, just minutes from Heuston Station and connected by the Luas.
This edition will bring together food scientists, researchers, industry professionals, educators, and students to share knowledge, inspire innovation, and strengthen collaborations under the theme Global Food Resilience, its Challenges and Strategic Approaches and the following sub-themes:
- Closing the Loop: Circular Bioeconomy and Regulatory Frameworks
- Building Resilient Food Chains: From Farm to Fork in a Changing World
- Technology Driven Food Innovation: Science, Consumer and Health
- Digital Transformation for Resilient and Sustainable Global Food Systems
