Get Ready for Bike Week with a 6 week adult cycling programme - different levels to choose from see below

Choose your Level

BEGINNER – Suitable for adult beginner and novice cyclists, build your confidence to ride a bike, lessons will take place on bike paths away from the road and traffic, building up to 10k distance. The programme includes instruction on pedaling, cornering, braking and balance.

IMPROVER – Suitable for cyclists who want to build up their distance on the road, must be able to cycle 10km unbroken at leisure pace currently and will build to 25km over the weeks. The programme includes basic bike instruction for cycling on the road, safety, maintenance and 6 weekly outdoor spins with a qualified cycling leader.

  • Bikes must be road worthy and helmets wore at all times during the session.

Beginner / Novice

  • All sessions take place on cycle paths go from 0k to 5/10k distance
  • Tuesday evenings
  • Meeting Point Cleveragh Park Sligo
  • 6 week programme
  • Programme 1 starting 5th April (4.15pm - 5.45pm)
  • Programme 2 starting 24th May (6.15pm-7.45PM)


  • Sessions will take place on the road; go from 10k to 25k distance
  • Tuesday Evenings
  • Meeting Point Car Park at Carraroe National School
  • 6 week Programme
  • Starting on 5th April (6.15pm -7.45pm)
