Description
The Rotary Club of Wellington and Conservation Volunteers New Zealand are pleased to to host a collaborative strategy workshop as part of the Rotary Centenary Project – A Forest at the Heart of Wellington. This ambitious multi-organisational project aims to plant another 60,000 native trees on Mount Victoria by 2021/22, taking the total number of trees planted by Rotary to 100,000. What a fantastic legacy for future generations. To succeed this aspirational project needs your help to achieve our collective ambition. Great progress is being made. Now we need to take it to another level.
The workshop will be held in the Victoria University of Wellington computer labs from 4.00pm – 6.00pm on Wednesday 23rd November, and will be followed by an optional self-funded dinner at the Wellesley Hotel.
Participants will each be assigned a computer, and by using the collective intelligence software, ThinkTank, will participate in the development and refinement of specific strategies to ensure the success of this project. The focus of the workshop will be on marketing and sponsorship.
Over the duration of the workshop we will:
- Introduce you to A Forest at the Heart of Wellington
- Present plans and ideas currently under development
- Seek feedback and new ideas through the use of ThinkTank
- Have a chance to meet and share ideas over dinner
We would very much value your attendance, and the opportunity to have your input into this important initiative. If you know anyone else who may have some valuable knowledge to contribute then we welcome you to forward them this invitation.
