This piece will take Shakespeare's classic A Midsummer's Night Dream and adapt it to serve as a daily installation piece throughout the week. People can follow along the story by seeing each show from Wednesday-Sunday, but each performance also works as a stand alone piece too. In true Shakespearean fashion, these pop up plays would happen in various locations across campus. Midsummers is a classic Shakespearean comedy full of mix ups, magic potions, and donkeys. It's a light hearted story involving four lovers, a group of fairies, and a struggling acting group and looks at how all their stories intertwine in the forest and what chaos ensues. Come along and audition, who doesn’t love some Shakespeare in the park?!
