Develop the foundational skills of mindfulness to support you in all aspects of your life.

About this event

In this course we will be establishing Mindfulness Meditation Practices by going through the four foundations of Mindfulness: Awareness of Body; Thoughts; Emotions & Experiences; and developing self-compassion. Each 60-minute session contains didactic teachings, a practice or sitting period,  Q&A period. By the end of the course, you will have established a mindfulness practice that suits your personality and lifestyle.

The Mindfulness Teacher, John Farragher, is a graduate of the two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certificate Program (MMTCP) with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. He is a creative artivist: combining arts and creativity for social activism in the community. His professional practices include auto-ethnographic & creative writing; mindfulness teaching; dramatic and post-dramatic performance practices.
