Empower your students to take climate action! Build global citizenship for change in your school!

About this event

2021 is set to be a landmark year for the climate crisis. The recent IPCC report warned in stark terms of the widespread, rapid consequences of climate change. The COP 26 summit is being held in Glasgow, seen by many as a last opportunity for governments to act on the most pressing issue of our time. But how can teachers make this burning issue real and present for students?

The Action on Global Citizenship training course equips Irish secondary school teachers with the skills, knowledge and resources to teach about global citizenship and to lead climate action. A four-week webinar series introduces activities from our Teacher Toolkit and connects you to other teachers with a similar interest. Our online platform introduces a range of activities, articles and videos, while a weekly webinar creates space for discussion and reflection.

Sign up today and turn the need for action into a time for learning!

Please note, this training is limited to those teaching in Ireland. Unfortunately we cannot include teachers from other countries.

This training has been made possible by the generous assistance of Worldwise Global Schools.
