ActionAid Table Quiz

ActionAid is hosting a table quiz to raise money to support its humanitarian response in Lesvos Greece on Thursday 14th January in Doheny & Nesbitt (5 Baggot Street Lower, Dublin 2) at 7.30pm.

The quiz is open to everyone and will comprise of ten rounds with ten questions each. Entry is €40 per team of four, with all proceeds going to ActionAid’s Refugee Appeal. Rounds will be general knowledge focused, with something for everyone on the team. There will be prizes for the top two teams, raffle winners and best name on the night.

Declan White, Head of Fundraising at ActionAid Ireland said: “A humanitarian crisis is still unfolding on the beaches of Lesvos Greece. Many men, women and children continue to arrive by dingy, even as temperatures in the sea have been plummeting. They are arriving cold and afraid and our ActionAid teams are working constantly to provide information, blankets and basic sanitation packs to those arriving. We have also set up safe spaces in the refugee camps where women can breastfeed, change their clothes and rest in private after their long journey. 100% of money raised at the table quiz will go to support this work.”
