ADHD Specific Online Parent Training Course

About this Event

5 week ADHD specific course to support parents by promoting communication and positive relationships with their child affected by ADHD 2-12 years123 Magic, an award-winning program has been adapted to provide parents with straightforward techniques for managing children with ADHD up to 12yrs. Parents will learn how to cope with challenging behaviour, get support with issues such as homework, messy rooms, sibling rivelry etc. and thereby strengthening a positive relationship with their child.

Course facilitated by Terri Lloyd, Theraputic Counsellor. Terri is a qualified therapeutic counselor for adolescents with over 15 years experience of working with children and young people with a range of social, emotional and mental health issues. She provides not only face-to-face counseling for teenagers but has established a successful online counseling practice working via Skype and zoom. She has worked to support families and young people with Special Educational Needs and Learning Disabilities including Autism, ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome in both domestic and educational settings.

Terri currently runs the parenting programme 1-2-3 Magic to parents of children aged 2-12 years and those with ADHD, and Surviving your Adolescent for parents of teenagers with challenging behavior and ADHD.
