Advanced Level 2 FIT Intensive

The ICCE is excited to announce it's newest intensive training workshop. The Advanced Level 2 FIT Intensive training will held August 14th and 15th, 2017 in Chicago, IL. USA.
The Advanced Intensive Level 2 is aimed at people who have previously completed courses on Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) and want to update and expand their learning. This training will be deliberately organized to meet the needs and questions of experienced FIT practitioners.There are a limited number of seats for this training to allow for a more personalized, intimate learning environment. Participants will be asked to bring their questions and cases for individual consultation in the group. The training will also include some didactic presentations and experiential exercises.

Explore limitations of FIT
Beyond FIT: exploring new directions for improving outcomes (deliberate practice)
Understanding, building and managing the therapeutic alliance
Strategies for encouraging negative feedback
Application of FIT to specific/special populations
Practical application of FIT using complex case scenarios
Using graphs to determine dosing and intensity of treatment
Advanced strategies for dealing with lack of progress
Understanding outcome and alliance data:
More in-depth understanding of outcome and alliance statistics

The Advanced Level 2 FIT Intensive training will be led by ICCE Director, Scott D. Miller, Ph.D. and members of the ICCE professional development team.
Scott D. Miller, PhD, is a co-founder of the Center for Clinical Excellence, an international consortium of clinicians, researchers, and educators dedicated to promoting excellence in behavior health. Dr. Miller conducts workshops and training in the United States and abroad, helping hundreds of agencies and organizations, both public and private, to achieve superior results. He is one of a handful of "invited faculty" whose work, thinking, and research is featured at the prestigious "Evolution of Psychotherapy Conference." His humorous and engaging presentation style and command of the research literature consistently inspires practitioners, administrators, and policy makers to make effective changes in service delivery.

To insure an optimal learning environment, registration for the FIT Implementation Training is limited in number. The quality of the training depends on all registrants attending and preparing for the event by completing the pre-conference reading assignments. Cancellations are automatically registered in the next scheduled ICCE training event. A 50% refund will be made if requested 75 days prior to the scheduled event.
