AEC Enterprise Hubs Strategy Consultation Workshop - SLIGO
Event Information
About this Event
The project is being coordinated by the Western Development Commission on behalf of the Department of Community and Rural Development.
We invite you to come along and help shape this AEC initiative by directly feeding into the strategy breakout sessions on the day.
Who is this event for? The events have been designed for hubs/co-working space managers, owners and businesses based in one of these spaces along the Atlantic Economic Corridor. We are also inviting key stakeholders, government agencies and community groups who are in a position to feed into the planned 3-year project to create an interconnected community from the 101 hubs identified in the region.
Who is speaking at the events? Our team have curated a list of speakers from across the region who will outline their progress, challenges and need for support. These include hubs such as The Building Block in Sligo, The Portershed in Galway, The Elliot Centre in Kilkee, CoWork Plus Donegal, RDI Hub in Kerry and more. Our panel discussions include other key stakeholders from IDA, Enterprise Ireland, Údurás na Gaeltachta, Grow Remote and others.
How can you feed into the strategy development? As part of each day we are planning to facilitate breakout sessions which will inform the development of the Atlantic Economic Corridor hubs strategy. Themes will include infrastructure, business development, technology, promotion and marketing, funding and sustainability, remote working and others.
Do I need to attend both dates? You only need to attend one date. We have created two events so that you can travel to the event which suits your travel arrangements and diary. We hope to see you in either Limerick on the 19th November or Sligo on the 21st November. Please note tickets are free but limited.
Please note we will be capturing both images and video on the day of the workshop.
