Event description

Description

The British Irish Chamber of Commerce and our sponsors KPMG and Ulster Bank have come together to host this Seminar which will address the various challenges and opportunities that Brexit has brought about for business interests in the UK and Ireland.

The delivery of infrastructure is a prerequisite for sustainable economic growth on the island of Ireland and in the UK. Internal and external investment in the Irish and UK economies will require the delivery of this infrastructure regardless of the implications of Brexit. However, Brexit has put a new impetus on the importance of developing infrastructure across these islands which are necessary to ensure efficient and sustainable trade.

This Infrastructure Seminar entitled ‘Developing Infrastructure Fit for Purpose’ will focus on 4 topics:

i. Infrastructure Projects within Ireland;

ii. Infrastructure within the Island of Ireland;

iii. Infrastructure Enabling Ireland-UK Links; and

iv. Financing Infrastructure.

The Seminar will be Chaired by Sean Finlay, Director—Geoscience Ireland. Sean is the Chair of the British Irish Chamber of Commerce Infrastructure Committee.
