LINC

DCCC is delighted to host Paula Harte (a Tutor from the LINC Programme) at the information session. The purpose of the information session is to inform you of the structure of the LINC Programme, the entry requirements and other elements of relevance, as well as how you can apply to get a place on the programme for you or one of the other staff in your setting. There will be an opportunity for you to raise any questions that you may have in relation to the programme itself.

AIM

The Better Start Access and Inclusion Model (AIM) is a model of supports designed to ensure that children can access the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Programme. Its goal is to empower pre-school providers to deliver an inclusive pre-school experience, ensuring that every eligible child can meaningfully participate in the ECCE Programme and reap the benefits of quality early years care and education. We are delighted to welcome AIM Co-ordinator Nicola Kee who will present information about the AIM programme and answer any questions you may have.

About Diversity, Equality and Inclusion

The new Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Charter and Guidelines for Early Childhood Care and Education are intended to support and guide all those working in the early childhood care and education sector to explore, understand and develop inclusive practices for the benefit of all children and their families. DCCC will give an outline of the EDI programme, the progress made and the dates and venues for future roll-outs of the programme.
