Using a ‘start from the start’ approach, the Síolta Aistear Introductory Workshop provides an overview of the two national early years’ frameworks, Síolta and Aistear, and the online support tool The Aistear Síolta Practice Guide. The 2.5-hour workshop will support participants to learn about the purpose and structure of Síolta and Aistear, to explore the connections between the two frameworks, to find out more about the Aistear Síolta Practice Guide and to examine the possibilities for further support and guidance in relation to Aistear and Síolta in the early childhood sector. This workshop will be of benefit to all educators, particularly anyone who feels they haven’t been recently actively using the frameworks or would like a refresher as a means of re-engaging to support their practice.
