About this event

Join us on Saturday the 18th of December at the Hilton Dublin Airport for AkiDwA’s 20th Anniversary Fundraising and Recognition Dinner.

On this night we wish to celebrate all that has been achieved by AkiDwA and its partners since its conception 20 years ago. Among these achievements are:

- CADIC 2003/2004 - the successful campaign to stop the deportation of over 17000 parents of Irish citizens and children

- The development of the 2012 FGM Criminalisation Act

- The provision of training to over 3000 health care professionals and frontline service providers

- Influencing policies on health & integration

- Delivering capacity building training to over 6000 migrant women

On this occasion AkiDwA also wishes to acknowledge a number of individuals and partner organisations who have made instrumental strides towards advancing migrant’s rights, integration, and equality.

Tickets cost €50 per person which will include a three course meal, glass of prosecco and a donation towards AkiDwA. Expect music, dancing, raffles, games and a lot more! We are very excited to see you there!
