The musical group Rianóir are Ari Sheehan and Mick Hoey, who have been composing and playing music together for three decades. Their original instrumental works for guitar are masterful and mesmerizing, creating an intimate and exhilarating listening experience.

Ari is a luthier and Mick a fisherman and forager. They both live a life attuned to nature near the sea and their music is inspired as much by the rhythms of the world around them as a myriad of rhythms from around the world . Rianóir's style is undefinable but deliberate, with Mick providing the backbone to Ari's improvisations to each piece. The same song is never played in exactly the same way twice.
