About this event

"I am a Mindfulness and Psychotherapy professional with over 30 years’ experience. The learning, practice, and application of Mindfulness over this time has been hugely beneficial not only to me personally, but also to my broader family and community life. I also teach Mindfulness skills to children and have worked with schools in County Kildare over many years, something I have very much enjoyed doing.

My personal journey started over 30 years ago and I decided to pursue training as a professional Counsellor and Psychotherapist followed by a Masters in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy. I continue my ongoing training and practice through regular retreats at Buddhist temples and centres. I have a daily practice which I feel is very important when teaching the skill of Mindfulness to others.

Mindfulness has the power to transform one's life.

What mindfulness does is bring us right into our experiences, moment by moment, in a way that is realistic and meaningful to whatever is going on in our lives."
