The RIAI and Academy of Urbanism Conference takes place on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd September at Dublin Castle with tours on Saturday 3rd September.

The conference is sponsored by the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs and supported by the Urban Forum. It will discuss the following topics: '10 Years of the Academy of Urbanism'; 'Urbanism Theory & Practice'; 'International Experiences and Urban Futures' with speakers coming from both Ireland and abroad to discuss national and international strategies.

The line-up of speakers includes national and international urbanism experts and academicians. The conference is delighted to announce Charles Landry, an authority on creative cities, Shelley McNamara and Yvonne Farrell of Grafton Architects, Yolande Barnes Head of Savills World Research and Ali Grehan, Dublin City Architects are among the speakers.
