Ardú are delighted to welcome soprano Emer Barry and the Holy Child Killiney Choir to the beautiful surroundings of the National Maritime Museum of Ireland as their very special guests this Christmas. Come hear your favourite Christmas classics performed by some of Ireland's most successful musicians, along with a few of our own surprises!

Ardú Vocal Ensemble is a versatile group made up of six professional singers from various backgrounds - traditional, opera, choral and contemporary. Ardú have pioneered the genre of a cappella music in Ireland with performances at the Cork International Choral Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, London A Cappella Festival and have featured on BBC Radio Ulster, RTÉ Lyric FM and RTÉ Radio 1. They were awarded 1st prize in the National Vocal Ensemble Competition at the City of Derry International Choral Festival 2015 and runners up in the Lyric FM Choirs for Chirstmas competition 2015.
Soprano Emer Barry has performed internationally with classical crossover sensation Affiniti. She is set to release her debut album 'Storyteller' in 2017 which will be a collection of stories from the worlds of Opera, Musical Theatre and the Celtic Repertory.
Holy Child Killiney Choir, directed by Regina McDonald, welcomes pupils from 1st to 6th Year. Choir is an integral part of school life, and their well-rehearsed programme enhances the Liturgies, Assemblies and Celebrations each year. The choir won the RTE Lyric FM Choirs for Christmas 2012 (newly composed entry) and most recently, in 2016, received 3rd Place in the SSA and 1st Place in the 1st-3rd Year 2-part Wesley Choral Competitions.
