ArtAbility® is a visual arts program run by ADEC that unites a range of over 100 talented artists of all ages who are living with a disability or an experience of mental ill health, who come from culturally diverse backgrounds across Victoria.

ArtAbility® provides the contributors the chance to be seen as “Artists” by their peers, families and the community in general while promoting a message of ability rather than disability, strength in diversity and personal empowerment through engagement with the broader community.

Come along and enjoy some amazing local artwork created by artists living with a disability from cultural diverse communities accross Victoria.

Entertainment,speakers, canapes and a chance to purchase some incredible local artwork!

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. ID will be required as proof of age for anyone wishing to purchase alcohol at the event.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Tram -Seven-minutes walk from tram 86, Plenty Road (530 metres).

- Start from Plenty Road -Turn right towards Gower Street

Bus -Four-minutes walk from bus route 527 or 903 on Murray Street (270 metres).

- Turn right towards The Strand - Turn left towards Earle Street - Turn right towards Mary Street - Continue straight on Preston Chambers Arcade - Turn right towards High Street

Train -Six- minutes walk from Preston train station (350 metres)

- Continue straight on Earle Street - Turn right towards Mary Street - Continue straight on Preston Chambers Arcade - Turn right towards High Street

Parking - Street parking available around the market – please check street signs. Parking in Preston Market is available (3 minutes), please check the requirements. (180 metres).

What is the dress code for the event?
Work attire or casual is appropriate.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
For speedy entry, please bring your printed ticket to the event, although there will be a list of pre-purchased tickets upon arrival at the venue should you misplace them.
