Event description
To accompany the Glucksman's new exhibition Home, participating artists will discuss their practices, exhibited works, and recent projects.

About this event

Sinéad Ní Mhaonaigh graduated with a BA in Fine Art Painting from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2001. She was recently elected a member of the RHA, was awarded The Hotrom ARTWORKS Award for outstanding work from Visual Carlow and received an arts bursary from Wicklow County Council in 2019. In 2018 she was shortlisted for the John Moores Painting Prize. Her recent solo exhibitions include shows at Kevin Kavanagh, Dublin; Limerick City Gallery of Art; Triskel Gallery, Cork; and Linehall Arts Centre, Mayo. Ní Mhaonaigh has also taken part in group exhibitions at SLAG Gallery, New York; Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin; Mermaid Arts Centre, Wicklow; and as part of VOLTA NY New York in a solo presentation in 2016. Her work is held in public collections including the Office of Public Works, the Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris, the Highlanes Art Gallery in Drogheda and The Arts Council as well as private collections in Ireland, Europe and the USA.

Accompanying the Glucksman's 2021 exhibition Home: Being and belonging in contemporary Ireland, this series of online artist talks invites participating artists to discuss their practices. These talks are free and will take place throughout the duration of Home.
