Time Management and Prioritisation

Course Outline

With three distinct areas of work in Research, Teaching and Contribution, planning and prioritisation is the key to success. This Time Management & Prioritisation Masterclass is a good opportunity to enhance your existing skills.

Unlike many other training courses which help people to learn new skills, time management attempts to help people to shake-off long-held habits which are holding them back – habits that they may not be aware of, like how they think, what they believe, how they make decisions and how they do their work. And to replace these habits with new and useful habits which will help them to perform much more effectively – doing better quality work in less time. At the same time, the masterclass will attempt to help participants accurately read and respond to the reality of their environment, e.g. 24/7 technology, email and broader organisational culture, large meetings, working with a broad range of academic colleagues, expectations of various stakeholders, etc., in the best possible way.
