Women for Election is a not-for- profit organisation that encourages and supports women in Ireland to run for politics. Caitriona will outline a recent pilot programme that they ran with DCUSU.

Ciaran Higgins – Director, QUB SU

Ciaran will give a presentation on the development of the new Student Centre and Students Union at Queens University Belfast and also bring updates on new student centre developments across Ireland.

ALAN ANDREWS - CEO Coffee Culture and owner Old Barracks Roastery & Cafe, Birdhill Co Tipperary

Over the past 10 years Alan Andrews had had tremendous success in the Coffee Industry. His companies Coffee Culture, The Old Barracks Coffee Roastery and GUJI Coffee Bars, span a number of businesess, centred on excellence in coffee production and serving: Coffee Roasting, Barista training, High Street Retail outlets and cafe consultancy. His company employs 35 staff across 3 locations, and are the current Enterprise Ireland National Enterprise Award winners for Tipperary. Alan is committed to identifying new business opportunities, implementing improvements and empowering his teams. Alan is a creative thinker, always looking for opportunites and not afraid to challenge norms.

This session will consider how Students Unions can benefit from sharing their expertise in these areas with their Institution.

Eoin Sheehan Country Munch & Virgin Media One TV Chef

TV chef and food entrepreneur Eoin will give a virtual cookery demonstration focusing on healthy nutritious meals. Eoin will also host a Q&A afterwards. Eoin is a resident TV Chef on Virgin Media Ones Six O' Clock show every week
