ATS Conference, AGM and Teachmeet October 2016
Saturday, 15 October 2016 from 09:00 to 17:30 (IST)
We are delighted to open registration for our Conference and AGM on the 15th of October. We have a great line up of speakers for the day from Tía Tula in Salamanca who will focus on teaching Spanish to A1/A2 level; Joan Sutton, former Inspector of Spanish, who will speak about differentiation in the classroom. We are also delighted to confirm that Ailbhíne Ní Bhroin, current Inspector of Spanish, will address the Association as well.
This year we will be holding the ever popular Teachmeet AFTER the Conference rather than the night before, so you will have the opportunity to hear even more excellent ideas for the classroom.
The cost of the AGM and Conference is €25, which includes entry, teas and coffees, a hot lunch and free parking, however for €30 you can get all of this plus entry to the Teachmeet. In order to save you time, you may purchase a special package of Membership AND attendance at the above events (total €40).
Our venue once again is the Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley Dublin. The Clarion is just off the N4 and the M50. It is also accessible by bus. Get off at the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre stop and it is approximately 10-15 minutes walk from there.
If you do NOT wish to attend the TeachMeet or the Conference, but do wish to renew membership, there is a seperate Eventbrite option for you here Individual Membership
If you have any question regarding the Conference and AGM, please email atsirlanda[at]gmail[dot]com clearly stating your query in the subject line.
Reminder: once you have paid for membership (or the various packages) there is a link to the membership form, without which your membership won't be finalised. Don't forget to fill it out ASAP! Thank you!
Once again we thank you for your patience while we looked at other registration options.
We look forward to seeing you on October 15th!
