You are invited to attend the Annual ATU-Donegal Engineering Expo 2022 on Thursday 26th May @14:00 in the Coffee Dock area of the Letterkenny campus.

At this Event our ATU Mechanical, Electronic and Electric Vehicle Engineering students will exhibit their significant projects undertaken from the Academic Year 2021/2022. The event is open to Prospective Students, Prospective Employers, LYIT Graduates, ATU Staff and those with an interest in Mechanical, Electronic or Electric Vehicle Engineering.

Year 4 will deliver their Research Project Findings, Year 3 will exhibit their Design Project Machines and Embedded System Projects, Year 2 will present their Motion Conversion Mechanism Builds and Year 1 will have their machined components and assistive devices for daily living activities on display etc.

We are delighted to announce our 2022 Expo Guest Speaker; former LYIT Graduate Mark Gormley who assumed the role of Senior Engineer EirGrid the Transmission System Operator, facilitating New Technologies and progressing Market Changes to enable increased levels of Renewable Electricity on the Power System. Mark now holds the position of Senior Manager in Cool Planet, an Engineering Services provision company who implement, maintain, and optimise industrial processes for a range of worldwide customers. Marks current role is assisting Cool Planet expanding the range of services provided to the energy sector.
