Phil Christie is a Consultant Child Psychologist who now works on an independent basis and with colleagues as part of Autism Associates. Phil was Director of Children’s Services for a regional autism charity for over 30 years. This role included overseeing a specialist school for pupils and students with autism and being lead consultant at the Elizabeth Newson Centre. Phil has been extensively involved in leading training events around PDA for schools, ASD teams, health trusts and other organisations providing for children with complex presentations on the autism spectrum. He was elected as Chair of the advisory council for the Autism Education Trust and, since 2016, has been Vice Chair of the programme board.
