Guidelines for Booking Reserved Tables and Seats Online

Bookings are on a first come first served basis and earlier bookings will be able to obtain the better tables / seats. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Note: On the booking system the stage is on the left hand side, therefore the premium seats work from left to right. The round tables generally have 11 seats and the rectangle tables have 12 seats.
We have set a maximum number of 12 tickets per booking.

Paid-up NISO Members save €32.50 on their bookings. Book and pay onlne to receive a further €30 discount per ticket. When you make a dinner reservation, ensure to use the code “NISOMBR” to obtain a 20% discount if you are a fully paid up member. If you are unsure, you may check with us at 01 465 9760. Do not use the Discount Code for NISO Members unless you are sure your organisation is a paid up member of NISO and/or NISG. Otherwise tickets may be refunded and released for general sale.

The dinner booking system will select the best seats available for the number of tickets reserved. You will see seats being reserved in real time (in the colour grey). An “Unavailable" message will appear when you hover over a seat that's taken.

You may unselect these seats and select different seats / tables. Ensure you watch your Cart on the right hand side of the screen which will indicated the number of tickets in your order.

Where possible, ensure that you enter the names of all individuals attending and that everyone is supplied with their own tickets which should be brought to the venue. Each ticket holder MUST sit at their allocated table / seat.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have never been to the Awards Ceremony and I am not sure whether I should attend?
We cater for all groups and individuals at the Awards ceremony dinner. Some of the bookings are large with perhaps one or two tables booked. On other occasions, an individual bookings is made. Irrespective of the type of booking. In past years we endeavoured to sit persons from the same organisation together. Due to a change thi year in our online booking system, you will select your tables and seats onlne. Therefore, with late bookings, the online system may not be able to sit you together.

Can I request to sit with someone from another organisation?
No. In the past we have done our utmost to ensure that your particular requests are satisfied. With the introduction of seat selection by organisations booking from 2018, this facility is not possible.

What is the dress code for the Awards Presentation Dinner?
Men, normally: dress suit / smart casual. Ladies, normally: cocktail dresses / smart casual.

Who arranges Accommodation Bookings?
While bookings for the Awards dinner and annual conference are made through NISO, accommodation bookings are normally made directly with the hotel or venue quoting NISO to obtain the best rates.

No representative of my organisation is available to attend the Awards Ceremony dinner? How do I collect my Award?
Most organisations make every attempt to have a representative attend as it is a national event with Ministerial recognition. Many organisations use the opportunity to thank their committee members, employees, etc., for their contribution to health and safety within their organisations over the last year. If it not possible to attend, you should contact NISO to convey this message and also to make arrangements to collect your award from NISO/NISG in the days after the Safety Awards Ceremony.

What are the photographic arrangements?
NISO/NISG will provide a photographer who will be present on the night and take photographs of each nominated person collecting their award on behalf of their organisation. Only one representative is allowed on stage. There will also be opportunities for photographs to be taken of organisational representatives in groups after the presentation of the Supreme Award. Photograph will be made available online. By processing your order for the dinner you are agreeing that your photograph may be published. Should you wish it removed, we will do our utmost to facilitate this.
