Johnny Logan, or J-Lo as he is known to his legions of hard-core fans, has certainly come a long way since he first began singing in dressing rooms with his dad, the renowned tenor Patrick O’Hagan, when Johnny accompanied him on his tours as a teenager. Most people know that he is the only singer / songwriter who has managed to win the Eurovision Song Contest three times, as a singer in 1980 with “What’s Another Year”, as singer, songwriter and composer of “Hold Me Now” in 1987, and in 1992 as songwriter and composer of “Why Me”.
