Maori Elder, Toroa Aperhama will guide us through this intense workshop and will develop with us an Irish battle cry based on the concept of the traditional haka!

Welcome to this intense 'Battle cry' workshop based on the concept of the HAKA.

This authentic Haka is composed and taught by Maori Elder Toroa Aperahama.

* For both men and women.

* A unique opportunity to learn and perfect this original Haka. Performed with full choreography and unity in both Maori language and your native language.

* Discover the power of your own language.

You will learn about the philosophy, origin, meaning and sacredness of the Haka including rituals before and after.

This workshop was created because of the challenging time we currently live in, to release all frustrations, anger, and fear in a safe setting.

Toroa will show you how to refocus those energies into positive energies...Inner motivation and strength to move forward in harmony.

Acknowledging who you are, your roots, your Tribe, your land...and reconnecting.

It will be performed with Power and Passion.

Toroa is a Maori Elder from New Zealand, raised by his beloved Grandmother and the elders of the village. They gifted him the knowledge of the Ancestors in both the spiritual and physical world. Toroa walks both sides at the same time, there is no separation.

Practical details:

Date: 13 - 15 May 2022

Location: An Sanctóir, Bawnaknockane, Ballydehob, County Cork

Schedule: Friday - Intro evening, start 7 pm, doors opening and registration at 6:15 pm

End: 5 p.m (Saturday and Sunday)

Lunch: After registration you will receive an email with all the details pertaining to accommodation (prices, options, etc. and meals).

Investment: 260 € In order to register for the event and secure your spot, we ask you to pay a 60€ deposit by the 25th of April 2022.
