Do you love contemporary art? Or do you just wonder what it’s all about? Art aficionado or absolutely novice, this tour is perfect for you.
Discover some of Temple Bar’s best keep secrets as three city centre galleries – Project Arts Centre, Temple Bar Gallery + Studios and Gallery of Photography – join forces for a guided walking tour through their current exhibitions, and offer an insight into the history of contemporary art in Ireland. Led by a team of friendly staff this is a chance for you to take a glimpse into the world of contemporary art, and ask all the question you always wanted to know the answers to.
May’s tour, as part of Bealtaine Festival, will begin at Project Arts Centre with Agnieszka Polska's exhibition Softly Spoken. Visitors will be guided to the next venue, the Gallery of Photography for Kenneth O’Halloran’s Modern Ruins and other stories. The tour will finish with Hannah Fitz' solo exhibition at Temple Bar Gallery + Studios.
