Event description

Description

Welcome to the Bear Lee There CABEARET All Male(ish) Review

The CABEARET will be a packed evening showcasing Irelands top Male(ish) performers.

Boylesque, Comedy, Live music, Drag Kings and Queens and Cabaret performers coming togther to raise funds for The Irish Men's Sheds Associtian. All performers are donating their time and some specially creating acts for this one off event.
We all have rough times and need a little help and some suffer in silence, in worst cases leave us all to soon.
I personally lost my brother 10 years ago because he felt he had hit a dead end with no way out but one. I didn't get to say goodbye, I didn't even know how he was feeling as he didn't feel he could tell anyone. Lets not allow others to be silent and become a memory.

Lets talk, lets laugh, lets cry together

I hope to see you there and if you need someone call Bear Lee There.

The Men's Sheds movement started in Australia and has been in Ireland since 2011 with over 450 locations covering Ireland both sides of the border.

Talking is a way of solving problems and the Men's Sheds say that "Men dont talk face to face they talk shoulder to shoulder". The purpose of the programme is to engage men to successfully facilitate more open and meaningful discussions around their physical and mental wellbeing while encouraging men to maintain healthier lifestyle choices and increase their awareness in areas such as physical activity, healthy eating and mental wellbeing.

In 2013, the Irish men’s sheds movement received recognition at the very highest level when President Michael D. Higgins became patron to the Irish Men’s Sheds Association.
