The School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice UCD in collaboration with the Irish Association of Social Workers and BASW NI are delighted to co-host a free webinar to mark World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2021.
Our webinar will explore the topic of abuse in care settings starting off with a focus on older people and elder abuse and broadening the discussion out to the abuse of adults of all ages in care settings, exploring implications for policy and practice. Our webinar will be of interest to memners of the general public, NGO's and third sector organisations, health and social care professionals, family carers,residential care and nursing home staff, managers and providers, nurses, doctors, policymakers, researchers and politicians. We have a fantatsic line-up of speakers including;
