Walking tour of Fernhill Park and Gardens with a focus on nature based solutions and sustainability as part of Dublin Climate Action Week.

About this event

Fernhill Park continues to be an exemplar for developing nature based solutions in the County. During this walking tour of the Park, learn more about existing and future projects including the Future Woodlands Model, conservation grazing and the Council’s ‘Slow to Mow’ campaign.

The event will also include a short talk by Gavin Harte of Codema and members of Belarmine Sustainable Energy Community to highlight the role of local communities in achieving our climate action targets.

The dlr staff member giving the talk will be Ruairi O'Dulaing, dlr Senior Parks Superintendent, accompanied by Anne Murray, dlr Biodiversity Officer.

This event is part of Dublin Climate Action Week and is a fully outdoor event. Please dress for the weather.

The tour will begin on the lawn in front of Fernhill House at 2pm.
