Description

Archaeologists will present results from some of the recent discoveries that they have made during the excavations for Luas Cross City (St. Stephen's Green to Broombridge, Cabra).


  • The Royal Canal and harbour at Broadstone with a 3D Laser Scan of the harbour,

  • New evidence for the supply and management of water in the 17th and 18th centuries, from St Stephen's Green to College Green,

  • A selection of archaeological and historical discoveries from Constitution Hill to Dominick Street Lower,

  • The Tudor Burials of College Green: The process of a 3D facial reconstruction



This seminar will be followed at 18:00 by the launch by Dr Alison Sheridan of National Museums Scotland of the latest book in the TII Heritage Series -
