Event description

Description

Bhakti Festival Dublin is a celebration of sacred music and meditation, a day of continuous devotional music in the form of Kirtan, and other forms of chanting. No experience is necessary. The aim of these practices is to connect to your heart through your voice and dive into the experience of singing as a way to relax our bodies & minds & nourish our Souls. The intention of this Festival is to uplift our hearts, through the power of devotional music, with some of Irelands well loved chant leaders.

Come and join Yasia, who has been leading ‘Come & Sing Your Heat Out’ kirtan for the past 8 years in Dublin, along with Felicity Ananda, who offers 'Kirtan in Glasthule', the first regular practice in south Dublin, as well as the heart opening Chanting & Chai, a collaboration of muscians who have been leading the wonderful bi-monthly Saturday chanting afternoons in Drumcondra and Shridhi Sai, who have regular divine chanting gatherings in Dublin City for over 20 years. Plus a new group to Bhatki Festival Dublin, Sathya Sai Bhajan Mandali and more tbc.

* Please note the extended time 12pm - 9pm.

There will be tea and snacks available throughout the day.

All profits go directly to Bray Lakers, a support & social club for children & adults with additional needs and Kolkata Sanved supporting women & children to recover from the trauma, violence and abuse of sex trafficking.
