Big Business Breakfast

Calling all Clew Bay businesses, the Westport Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the return of the Big Business Breakfast, a free networking event with an expert business panel which will be held in the Leeson Enterprise Centre on Friday Morning May 13th, from 8am to 10am.

The Big Business Breakfast is focused on networking, reconnecting and empowering businesses. This event was held previously in 2020 (pre pandemic) and saw 100+ attendees, “it was a great opportunity to connect with the local business community and to source some great local food producers” says Michael Lennon, Owner of Westport Woods Hotel.

As the lockdowns and Covid restrictions have eased, a significant amount of time has passed where many businesses have not only faced new challenges and overcome them, but also pivoted, and learned a completely new way of operating. “The Big Business Breakfast provides an opportunity for businesses in the region to reconnect with other business owners, and also engage, share ideas and build new relationships” says Graham Byrne, Vice President of Westport Chamber and owner of Kréme Gelateria & Cafe.

On the day, the event will start at 8am sharp with ‘Speed Networking’ followed by speakers James Flannagan from HoverIt, Helen Gavin from Bold Craft Marketing, Patrick Geraghty from the Local Enterprise Office and Geraldine O’Haire from ETB. The morning will finish with expert round table discussions on HR, Finance, Funding, Digital Marketing and Training.

This networking event is open to all businesses, both members and non-members, and is set to be a hub for generating new ideas, learning from others, strengthening existing relationships, and creating new ones. We encourage as many as possible to join us as there are opportunities to learn from other business minds, but also to share your experiences that may help another in similar situations.
